My pearl trees website is a collection of different tools that can be used for teaching and learning, which I have curated over the years. The tools can be organized into different categories, such as:
Design Thinking: Tools that can help developers such as wireframing tools and online templates.
Digital Storytelling: Tools that help learners create and share stories using digital media, such as Adobe.
Gamification: Tools that help learners engage with content through game elements, such as Quizizz.
Presentation: Tools that help learners create and deliver presentations, such as Canva and other AI tools.
Collaboration: Tools that help learners work together and communicate, such as Miro, and Mural.
Assessment: Tools that help learners demonstrate their learning and receive feedback, such as Socrative and Flipgrid.
The website also links other resources, such as The Teacher's Guide to Tech and The eLearning Coach.
Every project is different. In this example, I created a guide to help my developers gather critical information from subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders. I included prompts in the comment section to ensure they used the tool correctly. This document assisted in streamlining the information-gathering process and improved the quality of the final product
I tailored this checklist specifically to meet the unique needs and requirements of our stakeholders. By working closely with them, I developed a process that ensured every aspect of our video production was aligned with their vision and goals.
