We use many apps and websites that personalize student learning such as Reading Eggs that takes students on certain 'paths' according to their mastery of phonics skills. Students do not move on until they have mastered that skill. We also use Fastbridge to give students adaptive assessments where the questions they are asked are based upon their answers previous questions. Based on this data, I can use Fastbridge and other resources to create activities and interventions catered to each student's needs.
In Introduction to Digital Media, I designed and created a flipped lesson that used audio, video, and graphics to teach students about arrays. Students completed all 3 parts of the lesson and then were given an assignment to do so I could check their comprehension.
My flipped lesson over arrays shows how I engage my students through technology while also applying instructional design principals to create a standards based lesson.
