7A. Provide alternative ways for students to demonstrate competency and reflect on their learning using technology.

I use apps such as Book Creator to have students digitally publish their writing and demonstrate competency of the standards. They can then listen to their book and reflect on their learning and progress.

7B. Use technology to design and implement a variety of formative and summative assessments that accommodate learner needs, provide timely feedback to students and inform instruction.

I use apps such as Kahoot, Quizziz, and Boom Cards to engage and digitally assess student learning and provide immediate feedback to students. I also receive reports of these assessments so I can use them to guide my instruction.

7C. Use assessment data to guide progress and communicate with students, parents and education stakeholders to build student self-direction.

We use Illuminate to assess students and collect student data. This data is then communicated with students for the purpose of goal setting, and also discussed monthly during PLT's for the purpose of providing possible interventions. Parents can also log into their student data and see it at any time.
