Grief is the emotional process your mind and body go through when someone or something deeply important to you is lost. Grief and loss can impact daily functioning, relationships, sleep and overall wellbeing. It can bring waves of sadness, confusion, anger, guilt, anxiety, or even numbness as you try to make sense of a world that suddenly feels different. Over time, grief doesn’t disappear, but most people learn to carry it with more ease as they rebuild life around the loss.
Counselling can provide support in processing these experiences, developing healthy coping strategies, and adjusting to life changes over time.
