Prerequisites: None

Course Description:

This cross-disciplinary course will invite students from a variety of the college’s programs to collaborate on a user-experience design problem in the realm where the digital and physical meet.

Course Outcomes:

The student will:

  • Research relevant technologies and apply them conceptually to a user experience scenario

  • Understand how to define, plan, and present an interaction design project in verbal, visual, and written formats

  • Apply industry standard practices, such as interviewing, UX story development, ideation, feedback, and storyboard presentation to an interaction design project

  • Demonstrate how to critique and receive critique for projects, relative to the stated objectives, as a member of a review group and then advance them accordingly
