The Digital Learning Center staff is available to help you learn how to use digital software and hardware. It is staffed by upper level talented and digitally savvy students from KCAD.

We can assist you with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other software. If you would like to learn how to use a Cintiq (a Wacom display where you draw directly on the monitor), we can show you. If you have a question that we don't know how to answer, we will help you find a solution.

We are located at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University on the 7th floor of the Fountain Street building in the Digital Art and Design HUB. Here's a little information about our DLC STAFF:

Hello everyone, I'm Ethan, the guy that wears that orange hat all the time. I am a senior Digital Art and Design student at Kendall with a focus on 3D game art. My expertise is in 3D modeling, so if you need help with Modo, Blender, or any other 3D programs I'm sure I can help you. Other than 3D modeling I have lots of experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, Flash/Animate, Unity and Garageband. I even know a bit of programming, so if you need help with Actionscript I can give you a hand. Basically I can help you with anything you want, so don't be afraid to come up and ask me for help!

And I'm John, a Senior in Digital Media. I'm sure you've seen me working around the school, flannel breezing in the wind. My expertise is in concept and illustration work as well as knowledge on animation and 3D modeling, too, so feel free to stop on over if you need any assistance.

There is a wide range of televisions, Cintiqs, laptop and desktop computers at KCAD. And, they need to be able to connect with each other for various display purposes. This adapter usage tutorial will help you to navigate the policies and available adapters for connecting your devices.
