Prerequisites: KCDM 241

Course Description:

Students will apply advanced techniques for digital drawing, coloring, compositing, and image manipulation for print and digital delivery systems.

Course Outcomes:

The student will:

  • Communicate imaging concepts, considering genre and copyright issues, in concise verbal, visual, and written formats

  • Critique and demonstrate proficiency in vector and bitmap imaging techniques integrating image reference (such as photography and 3d models) into the digital imaging workflow

  • Understand design and production processes that are congruent with current industry standards

  • Discuss, debate, and ideate proposals, works in progress, and finished works as a member of a review group
