Prerequisites: Senior Standing

Course Description:

Students will create a self-designed imaging, animation, video or interactive project that demonstrates their aesthetic voice as well as their technical skills.

Course Outcomes:

The student will:

• Communicate an original project concept, considering genre and copyright issues, in concise verbal, visual, and written formats

• Generate a written career or business-plan, informed by job market research

• Execute and critique an original project congruent with current industry standards that target a specific media industry and genre

• Function within a creative community that integrates mentorship, collaboration, and review; then advance projects accordingly
