Prerequisites: KCDM 232

Course Description:

Students will learn digital 3D character design, sculpting, and organic modeling for entertainment art.

Course Outcomes:

The student will:

  • Communicate 3D character concepts, considering genre and copyright issues, in concise verbal, visual and written formats

  • Understand design and production processes that are congruent with current industry standards

  • Apply digital sculpting and 3D painting processes to create characters for entertainment art

  • Critique and receive critique for projects, relative to the stated objectives, as a member of a review group, and then advance them accordingly
