Mrs. Tanner is my interviewee. I first time I met her, she was co-teaching with Mrs. MC in English, during my sophomore year. I had her later that semester in her own class, mindfulness. Mrs. Tanner is a bubbly, loving person that no matter what, will talk to you and care for you. Even if she has never met you before. She recently went on maternity leave since she had a kid and will be coming back to teach at the start of the 25-26 year. (Next year depending on the time of you watching this.)
Mrs. Tanner was my choice because of her class and influence on me, that class I felt like was going to be a waste of time for me and it ended up being one of my favorite classes I’ve ever had. That class changed my outlook on life, and since then I’ve always had a positive outlook on life, and not to care as much as you think you should. She always was warm and inviting, and really just was someone you could turn to. No matter what. Everything just felt comfortable with her, like a Grandma’s house in the school. During my interview, I want to bring up what caused her to teach, why she cares so much about people, some small things like how life has been and other stuff to catch up on, and a moment from last year, when she was there for one day and bet me a free item from the cafe if I got an 100 on the English regents. I want to keep the interview natural and rolling like a conversation so I want to have questions where I can give her a ballpark of what the questions will be a bit like, but not fully. I want it to be natural and imperfect. Like a walk in the forest, perfect, but not. Full of imperfections, forming a perfect sensation.
