Skills: Block Coding, Robotics, project management and teamwork
We developed a remote-controlled robot to play football and a game inspired by fencing where the goal is to pop the opponent's ball using an Mbot base. My team and I constructed the shell in Arts class and developed the code on Mblock, a version of Scratch for robots, as part of our Technology class in the third grade of middle school.
Subsequently, I created my first prototype of an autonomous vehicle with this robot, which could move on its own from point A to point B by reading markings on the ground with an infrared sensor. However, this project was limited as it was not intended for extensive use but only as an introduction to robotics for middle schoolers.
