Both at the conservatory and the A.T.E.M., I have acquired a diverse range of skills that have not only helped me excel in my musical pursuits, but also in other areas of my life.
One of the most important skills I developed during my time at the conservatory was discipline. Hours of practice were required each day, and I learned to be patient and persistent in the face of challenges. This has carried over into other aspects of my life, helping me stay focused and dedicated to my goals.
Another skill I acquired was coordination. Playing an instrument or singing requires a high degree of physical coordination between my eyes, hands, feet and body. Through my studies and countless hours of practice, I have developed a keen sense of control over my movements, which has improved my physical coordination and overall dexterity.
Memory is another area in which I have seen significant improvement through my musical training. Memorizing music and performing it from memory is a challenging task, but one that has helped me sharpen my memory and recall abilities. This has proven to be invaluable in both my academic and professional pursuits. However, I learned that it was inefficient to blindly memorize things without understanding them. It is more effective to master the basics first and then build understanding from there. This applies to both music and studies, particularly in science.
Perhaps most importantly, my musical training has helped me cultivate my creativity. Through improvisation and composition, I have learned to think outside of the box and approach problems from new and unique angles. This creative mindset has given me a competitive edge in a variety of settings, both within and outside of the music industry.
Overall, my time at the conservatory has been a transformative experience that has given me the tools and skills to succeed in all areas of my life.
As an avid fan of cinema and television, I have always been drawn to the captivating stories, diverse characters, and artistic techniques that these mediums offer. One of the ways I like to immerse myself in cinema and television is by watching them in their original language versions. Whether it's Tamil, English, or Spanish, I find that watching films and TV shows in their native language not only enhances my viewing experience but also allows me to keep in touch with these languages and cultures.
Watching movies and TV shows in their original language versions has helped me develop my language skills, including improving my listening comprehension, vocabulary, and pronunciation. It has also given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures and their perspectives, which is a valuable skill in today's globalized world.
Furthermore, my passion for cinema and television has also honed my critical thinking and analytical skills. I enjoy analyzing the plot, characters, and themes of movies and TV shows, and I am always eager to engage in discussions with others about them. This has also given me the ability to identify and evaluate different cinematic techniques, such as camera angles, lighting, and editing, which can be useful in a variety of industries.
In addition to my passion for cinema and television, I also have a deep love for educational content. Shows and Youtube Channels like "Big Bang Bogan," "LMES," "Brain Games," "Yvan Monka," and documentaries have always fascinated me. I find it both entertaining and enriching to learn about new concepts, theories, and ideas.
Watching educational content has also helped me develop my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It has taught me how to approach complex issues from different angles and how to make connections between seemingly unrelated concepts. This skillset has been invaluable in both my personal and professional life, as it allows me to think creatively and adapt to new situations.
Furthermore, my love for educational content has also sparked my curiosity and thirst for knowledge. It has inspired me to read more articles, research new topics, and stay up-to-date with current events. This drive to learn and grow has been instrumental in my personal and professional development.
Overall, my passion for educational content, combined with my love for cinema and television, has given me a diverse set of skills and perspectives. I believe that these skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and a thirst for knowledge, can be valuable assets in any workplace or industry.
