After giving up the ambulance service calls, a squad truck was purchased and served as the second piece of equipment for the department. This vehicle was a 1974 GMC panel truck which served as a utility salvage unit. Later it was replaced with a Ford chassis with a special utility type body that served as the light and salvage unit for the department until it was removed from service in 2004.
