My life’s work has been to create environments that display a learner's abilities through hard work and self discovery. As research from Maslow displays, we learn that when all personal needs are fulfilled, the sky is the limit. Allowing learners to feel fulfilled through their own discoveries and feel that the teacher is in less control of their learning will bring about a perspective of learning that is more about the whole person than having a traditionally outdated learning experience.
No time has better created a sense of urgency than right now. With the rising need for more alternative and virtually enhanced ways to learn, there is more work to be done in education. But more importantly, there is more to learn. With more opportunities for growth come more lanes for innovation. It is of high importance that all learners have equity in order to create ways for our present learners to lead our future world. These changes should be done little by little, day by day using the best tools possible for deep and refined educational experiences.
