Greetings!

Welcome to Curtail the Trail!  My name is Sara and I am a native Houstonian and constant learner.  I have 13 years of experience as an Educator.  I find that there is a need for a more impactful merge between education and purposeful technology.    

I attended college at Texas Christian University and began working as an accountant shortly after receiving my bachelor's degree.  After one year of working as an accountant I knew that I wanted to help others in a more effective way. I earned my teaching certificate in ESL and General Education and began teaching.  Since then, I became certified as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, became knowledgeable in Social Emotional Learning and completed my Master's Degree from Lamar University in the Digital Learning and Leading Program in August 2021.  Most recently, I found interest in Instructional Design and adult learning. 

I am a mother of two energetic boys who make life discoveries daily.  It is such a pleasure being part of their learning process and watching their growth.  It is also fun to try some of my educational techniques and tricks on them.    ;-)

I hope that my shared journey impacts others to enjoy the road to creating their life's happiness and purpose using their gifts and talents.
