CTU College of Engineering Faculty Engage with Global Experts at IEEE TENCON 2025 in Malaysia
From October 27 to 30, 2025, faculty members of the College of Engineering participated in the IEEE Region 10 Conference 2025 (TENCON 2025) held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Representing the College were Dr. Hana Astrid Canseco-Tuñacao, Dr. Maria Gemel Palconit, Engr. Jayson Jueco, Dr. Wilen Melsedec Narvios, Engr. Leo Nhel Abao, and Engr. Gilbert Silagpo. The conference provided a platform for the faculty to engage with global experts, present research, and explore emerging technologies in engineering and related fields.
Cebu Technological University (CTU) reaffirmed its research excellence after faculty members secured multiple Best Paper Awards at IEEE HNICEM 2025, a premier international conference organized by IEEE, the world’s largest professional technology organization. The recognitions span power systems, communication technologies, and sustainable agriculture, with all accepted papers set for publication in SCOPUS- and Web of Science–indexed journals—further strengthening CTU’s global research visibility and impact.
