The Sustainable Center for Engineering and Next-Generation Technology (SCENT) envisions a future where emerging technologies revolutionize engineering for a better Philippines. Guided by its mission to foster a collaborative environment where researchers, students, and industry partners leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve critical challenges in energy, food, water, sustainability, and quality of life, SCENT offers practical, achievable services that empower stakeholders while building a foundation for long-term innovation.
SCENT assists in small- to medium-scale research projects in areas such as robotics, IoT, AI, and sustainable engineering. Faculty provide guidance in developing prototypes, conducting experiments, and applying practical solutions. These initiatives align with SCENT’s mission by driving innovation that addresses real-world challenges while training future researchers and technologists.
SCENT offers hands-on workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs for students, educators, and early-career professionals.
