Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly integrating into the education, government, military, and business sectors. Defining your role in the evolving landscape is crucial. We will begin with a snapshot of AI's current integration into our daily lives. With this understanding, we will explore the ethical considerations, governance challenges, and development opportunities surrounding AI. Presenter Bio

Dan Baker is a Teaching Associate Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and teaches in the department full time. He is one of the primary instructors for both the on-campus and online sections of Engineering Mechanics: Statics and Engineering Mechanics: Dynamics. He is a passionate learner and works to optimize student learning through interactive learning activities, targeted assessments, and elevating student motivation.
