A program is a set of structured activities, organized for a specific purpose. Programs are not led by Captains or Lieutenants, since they are not directly related to the Patrol Services. Currently, we offer 2 programs.
Community Outreach & Media Relations (COMR) is responsible for overseeing the California Highway Patrol's (CHP) statewide community outreach activities. COMR also provides guidance, direction, and support to CHP personnel across the state regarding community outreach issues.
The Recruitment Team (RT) is a program in which its members complete in-game tryouts for interested members. They also advertise our department both in-game and in Discord to encourage more people to join our department as new Officers!
To apply to any division and/or program, you are required to be a CHP Officer. You can't be part of a divison/program if you aren't at or above the rank of Officer (after passing the Academy).
