Commissioner Emile has served the California Highway Patrol since July of 2024, he brought his exceptional leadership skills, professionalism, and dedication to the department. He successfully enhanced public safety and modernized operations. Thanks to him, the CHP implemented modern initiatives, revamped multiple documents to ensure comprehensive training of new cadets and expanded academy training programs to better serve the State of California. Emile is a visible and important presence in operations, supporting officers and addressing concerns.
Deputy Commissioner Ronin has served the California Highway Patrol since July of 2024 too! Since February 2025, Ronin has been holding the position of Deputy Commissioner, working alongside current Commissioner Emile. His impressive activity and dedication within the department allowed him to climb the ranks of the organization and reach his well-deserved current position. Ronin helped the CHP in multiple ways, such as developing new certificate trainings for our officers, hosting stimulating events and maintaining a strict level of professionalism within the force.
Assistant Commissioner Oatbelt first joined the California Highway Patrol in September of 2024! He is the Assistant Commissioner & Internal Affairs Director here at CHP. Oatbelt has made a vast range of contributions towards this department such as developing bots, building a division and being apart of the department since the early stages. Some people may know him as the strict BoC member, but this is only to make sure a high standard is set within the department. He loves engaging with the community, suggesting new ideas and working alongside his peers to ensure the best possible results for this department.
