The City Scholarship Office under the light of the 2018 Scholarship Code aims to form holistic scholar-leaders in the areas of Academic Excellence, Leadership, and Community Service.

In this light, the newly elected Presidents from 60 school-based and community-based scholar’s organization will undergo a 2-day intensive and reflective leadership camp dubbed as Katig Scholars’ Camp 2023: Forming Scholar-leaders for the City. The camp takes place on 21-22 January, 2023 at Eco Gardens Malasag, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.

This aims for the scholar-leaders to:

1. Enrich awareness of self and others,

2. Forge meaningful partnerships among co-participants,

3. Enhance leadership and community service
