Unit 0 taught me all about emailing, user interfaces, and information systems.
Signature files are a useful function on Outlook that helps emails look more professional. It's under settings, then account, then signatures.
Rules are another useful feature that helps to set up literal rules when emailing. A rule that I created was that every time the CCBC alert account emails me, it gets highlighted in red.
I now use both these features regularly after learning about them.
Although I knew what UI's were before this class, I was unaware of the terms "Waffles" and "Hamburgers" when it came to UI. I see waffles and hamburgers used almost everywhere on interfaces.
We also learned about how Learning Management Systems (LMS) and how they interact with us. Something as simple as the bell icon, when it has a dot on it, to let us know we have a notification.
These things are stuff that I notice and use every day, but never actually took the time to look into fully.
