Since this is a technology-centered course, I decided to base the theme on the Wii, one of my first and favorite gaming consoles. All the CDs at the bottom are clickable links to each unit!
My name is Lakayla, and my major is Psychology. I'm taking CSIT 101 because it was recommended for me under information technology. I enjoy playing video games, baking, listening to music, anime/manga, alternative fashion, early 2000s aesthetics and more.
Some of my favorite video games + game franchises include Cyberpunk 2077 (My favorite game of all time), Life is Strange, GTA 5, The Finals, Minecraft, FNAF, Lollipop Chainsaw, Undertale, Escape the Backrooms, Resident Evil, COD 3, Fortnite, multiple indie games, and I could go on ALLLL DAY.
If you couldn't tell, my favorite type of tech is video games.
Showing off my excellent taste in music!
(I like every kind of music, including underground, hyperpop, experimental, rap, any other language etc.)
I also wanted to briefly mention my love for transparent tech from the late 90s/early 2000s. I just found it amazing how much hardware makes up every device we use, and this type of look gives tech a more futuristic look, despite being from the past. (Some pictures might be modded too.)
(NEW CONTENT FOR FINAL)
During this course, I was able to learn many things about technology and myself. I learned about physical computer components, Microsoft applications, tech terminology, latest cybersecurity news, my own online presence, and technology in other places. Overall, I enjoyed learning about tech. The ePortfolio project allowed me to convey information while also showing my creativity. In the future, I'll happily look back at this project and my accomplishments after completing it.
