Why Did I Choose Electric Aviation?
I've been on a plane for the first time in 2019 to my mission trip to Haiti. Before this trip I hadn't really cared about air travel, but once the plane took off it became my favorite way to travel. So, for this project, I chose this topic because it was one I could have fun with. It's a topic I personally like and I hope I could enjoy flying in an electric plane one day.
Lessons Learned
I thought there would be more issues with this emerging technology then there actually was. The only challenges I could find were about the actual creation of the aircrafts which already seem to be in the process of a solution.
I learned this is actually possible. If I was simply told that we could have huge commercial planes in the sky with a battery i would have been a bit skeptical. But its possible and already happening.
