This project is about exploring and creating variety of digital media. There are four types of media such as, Image, Audio, Video, and Animation.

This is a picture of a lotus that I took a couple of months ago in August, when I went to hang out with my friends and relatives at Piney Run Park. we had a lot of fun on that day, including short trail hike, playing football, and kayaking. I captured this photo of the lotus while we were kayaking. Since I love flowers so much, I was very excited when I saw it.

This photo was originally in my phone gallery, so I added a caption with the date and time, then emailed it to myself and downloaded it as JPG file on my desktop. I am sharing this image under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

This is a video about nature and flowers that I embedded from YouTube, created by Christian Sommar on his channel.

I really like the way he has beautifully captured nature in the video, and he clearly stated that it is free to use and not copyrighted.

This audio file was already in MP3 format, and I downloaded it from uppbeat.io. This site provides royalty- free and copyright- free for creators. The track is called forever free by Hartzmann.

I chose this music because I enjoy its vibes and beats.

I could not find any privacy policy on the site, but since the track is copyright- free, I will credit and link to the original source and follow the TASL rule of thumb, which stands for Title, Author, Source, and License.

Lessons Learned

I have learned a lot from completing this project,including the different types of digital media such as image/graphic, video, audio, and animation as well as how to share them on my portfolio by following Creative Commons rules and correctly crediting the media which I used. The most interesting part for me was creating my own animated GIF using GIMP, which was a completely new experience.
