Although I am an introverted and shy person, I am always open to making new friends. Sometimes I feel like I am a mixture of two different personalities😀 because I love traveling in nature and enjoying peaceful environments, but I also enjoy citi vibes. Basically, I love both- it all depends on my mood. I am also a sensitive person, even little things can make me happy.
Even Though I come from a Buddhist background, I believe in and respect every religion and culture , as they all share the same ultimate purpose. I always believe in faith and karma: what you do or give, you will eventually receive in return, sooner or later.
I like to explore new places and cultures, so I enjoy adventure. I love listening to different kinds of music depending on my mood, and I also enjoy watching Netflix.
This picture of the scoreboard is from an axe- throwing game with my friends and sister. It was my First time playing, and I won😃! I felt very happy because I was the only one who had never played before, and honestly, I didn't even know this game existed until then.
First of all, before I jump into Unit 0 topic, I would like to briefly explain what this CSIT (Computer Science Information Technology) class is about. By the name itself, CSIT already suggests a lot about what I will learn. This class focuses on computer science and technology. Through it, I can learn and understand how computers and technology work in our daily lives as well as in the professional and technical world. I am able to build my basic knowledge of computer science, technology tools, the Internet, and networks and see how they are shaping and leading the world.
To be honest, I was a bit nervous about taking 7- week class, especially since this is my first semester after 5 -year of academic gap. Throughout this semester, I have learned a lot about computer skills - from exploring Brightspace tools to using academic search engines like Google Scholar and the CCBC library. I have also learned many new terms.
The best part is that now I know how to create a Portfolio and a PowerPoint presentation, which was fun to learn. Presenting the powerpoint slides in front of everyone was a valuable lesson for me because it was my first time, and as I mentioned, I am a shy and introverted person.
Overall, I am very glad that I made the right decision to take this class with Prof. Noone. This feels like my first baby step toward accomplishing my career goals at CCBC.
