At Crescendo we focus on maximising fun from the start. Our music lessons are designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of music at every stage of learning. From the playful discovery of Musical Explorers, to the skill building and ensemble fun of melody makers and the personalised one-to- one tuition of musical masters for more advanced students, we support every childs unique musical journey. Lesoons combine real instruments, engaging activities and expert guidance in a friendly encouraging environment. We are experienced at working with students with special needs and work closely with stúdents and their parents to adapt sessions to meet individual needs, ensuring every child can succeed in music.

Our session types
A fun filled introduction to music for 4-6 year olds where children discover music through real instruments and musical games.
Melody makers builds on the joy of musical explorers while welcoming both returning students and beginners who are ready to start their musical journey.
Children will develop confidence and skill on their chosen instrument while keeping learning engaiging wih ensemble playing and gmes
Musical masters gives young musicians the freedom to develop their own style and explore the music they love, building on their skills through personalised one to one lessons.
Musical explorers gives 4-6 year olds the chance to explore the world of music using real instruments and creative games to build musical skills. In these lively sessions children discover how music works by experimenting with sounds, moving to the beat and playing simple tunes together. Through hands on instrument time children develop coordination, confidence and a love of music that sets the foundation for future learning.
Each session is full of imagination, discovery and fun.
Musical explorers sessions can be individual (30 Minute) or small group (1 hour). Sessions cost £15 with an additional one-off instrument cost between £30 and £60 depending on what instrument your child is most interested in. A sibling discount of 10% is available.
Melody makers builds on the joy of musical explorers while welcoming both returning students and beginners who are ready to start their musical journey. Sessions focus on developing musical confidence, teamwork and creativity through playing, performing and composing together. Children begin to read music more fluently, explore melody and rhythm in greater depth and enjoy fun games and challenges that keep learning engaging and enjoyable.
Melody makers helps young musicians strengthen their technical skills while celebrating the joy of making music as a group.
Melody makers sessions can be individual (30 minutes) or small group (1 hour). Sessions cost £15 with an additional instrument purchase if you don't all ready own one. We can advise on affordable purchase/ rental options. A sibling discount of 10% is available.
Students at this level can also choose to take exams (more information below)
Musical masters is the next step for developing musicians, offering personalised one-to-one lessons that focus on skill progression, independence and musical expression. Students build on their previous learning to refine technique, explore different styles and make independent choices about the music they want to play. Whether preparing for performances, exams or simply playing for enjoyment, each lesson is tailored to to nurture confidence, creativity and a life long love of music.
Musical Masters sessions are individual and cost £15 for 30 minutes. A sibling discount of 10% is also abailable.

Meet our Staff
For Students who would like to take music exams, we offer preparation for both ABRSM and Trinity College London exam boards. Lessons can be tailores for either the traditional graded exams (which include perdormance, scales, sight-reading, and aural tests) or the newer performance only exams, where students present a short programme of pieces. Exams can be taken in person or online, depending on each students preference.
