Adult students are very welcome at Crescendo, whether you are learning for the 1st time or returning to lessons. We have a specially tailored approach for adults focusing on achieving your goals whilst having fun.
All genres of music
While technique is important, and we of course make sure we cover all the essentials, lessons can be tailored to any genre. Students at Crescendo learn Jazz, Classical, Pop, folk and more. Many students choose to learn through a combination so there is no need to stick to one.

30 Minute private lesson
30 Minute private lesson
We reccomend 30 minute sessions for students in their 1st year of playing. Woodwind instruments require a specific set of muscles which take time to develop meaning many students find 30 minutes more comfortable.
30 minute sessions cost £15
1 Hour private lesson
1 Hour private lesson
Hour lessons are popular with students with busy schedules. Many students opt for hour lessons every other week giving more time for practice between sessions. Other students prefer hour lessons for a more in depth experience.
1 hour sessions cost £30
Adult Groups
If you want to learn a woodwind instrument and meet new people in a friendly environment why not try out one of our group classes.

Partner lessons
Partner lessons
If you have a friend who would like to learn too Partner lessons may be perfect for you. In partner lessons we cover everything you would expect from a music lesson as well as benefiting from a chance to play together.
Partner lessons are also popular with parents and children although to get the best experience we recommend your child being over 12.
Partner lessons are capped at 3 participants and cost £40 for an hour
