Summer Writing CHALLENGE

The 2021 Summer Writing Challenge is closed.  Please check back in June 2025 for the new challenge!

Writing Prompt: Draw and write about your favorite memory from this summer. Include details!

Instructions:

1. Print out writing paper at home or request from school.

2. Write at least two pages (including drawing).  Make sure handwriting is neat and easy to read.

3. Scan or take a picture of writing and submit through Google Forms to earn a prize: https://forms.gle/j9sshe3z5R858ckU9

4. Additional awards will be given to students who demonstrate exceptional writing.

Writing Prompt: How has the pandemic changed you, for better or worse?

Instructions:

1.  The submission can be typed or written.  If it is written, please make sure the handwriting is legible.

2.  Students can use any literary format: essay, short story, poetry, play, etc.

3. There is no minimum word count, but students are encouraged to answer the question thoughtfully.

4. Upload or share link through Google Forms to earn a prize: https://forms.gle/j9sshe3z5R858ckU9.   Alternatively, students can share a Google Doc with summer@crecschool.org.

5. Additional awards will be given to students who demonstrate exceptional writing.
