Previously, I engaged in electronics-related work while in China. After work, I obtained qualification to teach Chinese as a foreign language as an internationally registered senior Chinese teacher. I have been an after school Chinese teacher in the US for more than five years. I love working with kids, and I believe it’s very important to be patient with them and that their happiness is the top priority for successful classroom learning. In my spare time, I like to grow flowers and try out various foods.

南京大学电子及应用技术专业，国内从事电子相关工作。工作之余学习了对外汉语，取得国际注册高级汉语教师资格。在美国从事课后中文教学5年。

After receiving my bachelor's degree, I taught in a middle school in Beijing for several years. Upon arriving in the United States, I studied children's education courses and taught Chinese in after school programs for more than ten years. 

I pay careful attention to student participation and interpersonal interaction in teaching, and regularly communicate with the children to help them achieve better results. I adapt the learning processes according to each student’s characteristics while improving their confidence in Chinese learning. While teaching strictly, it is my teaching philosophy to allow students to find the joy of learning in a pleasant atmosphere and developing mastery.

In my spare time, I like outdoor activities and love the presence of nature.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in Confucian values, where I do my part in nurturing virtuous individuals.

Students have an innate capacity for learning, and it is the role of the teacher to nurture and guide this innate potential.

While teaching, I encourage students to succeed through the fundamentals of diligence and discipline.  I emphasize building confidence and interest in learning Chinese as motivational factors. I respect that students have their own ideas and encourage them to think deeply and share their individual opinions. I believe that with my students, I am both their teacher and friend.  There are times when they can study seriously, and there are times when they can spend their student life enjoying a more relaxed pace.

I am an optimistic and positive person. I like to be friends with children, have rich experience in education and teaching, and understand that teachers are role models. They must have knowledge and charisma. Qualities such as love, patience, responsibility, sincerity, kindness, and tolerance are essential.

A teacher's responsibility is not only to teach but also to nurture. Teaching children to learn Chinese well is not my only goal; cultivating children to love learning and life, as well as knowing how to be grateful is my purpose. I hope all children can come happily every day, enjoy learning, and return home safely.

In my free time, I sit down with my family to play and sing songs or do some exercise. In short, I am a restless person - I’m busy every day, but I always feel like I don’t have enough time! I really wish time could go slower!
