CREC invites all readers to participate in our Winter Reading Challenge, kicking off on Monday, January 3. Reading helps reduce stress, and we could all use a little bit of that, right?
Challenge Overview
Participants will be grouped by grade level: K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th.
The youngest group (K-2nd) will earn a raffle entry for every five books. Books may be in any format. They will complete the challenge by reading 50 books.
The remaining two grade level groups will earn a raffle entry for every hour read. Books should be grade level appropriate. They will complete the challenge by reading 10 hours.
All readers will receive a small participation prize. In addition, raffle winners will be randomly selected and receive a prize. One prize will be awarded per group, K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th. You don’t need to “complete” the program or reach the goal to be eligible to win.
Winners will be drawn randomly, but the more books/minutes you read and complete, the greater your chances! Winners will be drawn and notified by March 7, 2022.
