Fun with Fonts (on your iPad) - ADE Festival of Learning (July 2020)

If you have been known to:

  • obsess over which fonts to use for a presentation

  • relax by downloading fonts from dafont.com

  • drool over calligraphy and lettering posts on Instagram

  • create crafty projects that feature fancy lettering and quotes

  • design student projects featuring typography

Then this session is for you!

Join in to have some fun using fonts and lettering on your iPad! I'll share some easy tips for downloading fonts onto your iPad (and onto student iPads). We'll look at sources for amazing free fonts and Procreate brushes. We'll explore apps that let you quickly create quotes with lettering variations and share how to use them with students and for your personal creativity. I'll give some hints and examples for using lettering for Cricut and other crafty projects. Finally, we'll do a simple faux calligraphy project in Procreate. So fire up your Apple Pencil, come ready to share your favorite fonts and lettering project hints, and have some fun with your font loving friends!
