Hello Everyone! My name is Haniya Adnan. I am a Elementary School Science educator in Mississauga. My passion for learning and educating has influenced me to designing a page that welcomes the individual spark in every. I stand by the thought that "Every individual is unique" and that is what I am willing to promote. This web page will guide you to learn about the importance of integrating creativity in classroom, the challenges that are faced while trying to accomplish it and the ways to overcome it.

what is creativity?

Creative behaviour is defined as highly original and is affected by internal and external factors. Internal factors like motivation, personality and cognitive skills can have an impact on an individual's creativity level (Selvi, 2007). Whereas, external factors like education, work and culture impacts the comfort level of the individual to bring forth his/her creative skills (Selvi, 2007). Feelings, imagination and experiences shape the ways in which an individual learns (Selvi, 2007). However, the external factors at times tend to act as barriers, preventing individuals from being creative. Therefore, an educational setup should provide students to foster their creative skills through determination, impulsivity and risk taking (Selvi, 2007).
