On this page you will learn how to add 3d effects, 3d objects, & filters to your video

Adding 3D Effects

1. To add a 3D effect to your video, select your clip or image, then click on the “3D Effects” button above the Storyboard:

2. Select an effect from the pop-up “Effects” menu:

3. Follow these steps:

(A) Select when in the clip you what the effect to appear by dragging the start and end tabs to the appropriate point in the video.

(B) Move and resize the effect by clicking and dragging on the corners and arrows.

(C) If you want to have the effect follow the movement of something on the screen, turn on “Attach to a point” and select what you want the effect to follow.

(D) Adjust the volume of the accompanying sound effect by using the volume slider.

(E) When you are finished, click on “Done":

Adding 3D Objects

1. Follow these steps:

(A) To add a 3D Object to the screen, select “3D library” in the 3D effects menu.

(B) Type in the name of an object you would like to appear.

(C) Select an item from the object search.

(D) Click on “Done”:

2. Follow these steps:

(A) Select when in the clip you what the object to appear by dragging the start and end tabs to the appropriate point in the video.

(B) Move and resize the object by clicking and dragging on the corners and arrows.

(C) If you want to have the object follow the movement of something on the screen, turn on “Attach to a point.”

(D) Select what you want the effect to follow.

(E) When you are finished, click on “Done”:

Adding Filters

1. To add a filter (e.g. Black & White), select your clip or image, then click on the “Filter” button above the Storyboard:

2. Select a filter and click on “Done”:
