It is important to include credits at the end of your video so that you can give proper attribution to any images or music used in your work.
In MS Photos, you have a number of choices for how to add credits. We will detail 3 options:
1. Find an image or video clip to use as a background to your text. Try to pick something with adequate blank space so that the content does not interfere with the text.
2. Select the background image you are overlaying credits on and click on the “Text” button:
3. Follow these steps:
(A) Enter your credit information into the text entry box.
(B) Select an animated text style.
(C) Choose a layout that suits the framing of your image or clip.
(D) Click on “Done”:
1. Download a PowerPoint template for scrolling credits:
2. Open the file in PowerPoint and edit the text to include the relevant attribution information for your video.
3. Adjust the animation timing, font, font size, colours, etc. to suit your video.
4. When saving the slide in PowerPoint, save as an MPEG-4 (.mp4) video (see image).
