Welcome to the public consultation website for the proposed development of the Cranbrook Cobdens Expansion Area by Persimmon Homes. Cranbrook Cobdens is an allocated site within the adopted East Devon District Council Local Plan which has been subject to public consultation and Independent Examination by the Planning Inspectorate.
The purpose of this website is to enable local residents to view the plans for the proposed development and enable them to provide any thoughts that they might have about the development.
An online consultation exercise has been prepared to ensure that residents are able to provide comments and feedback to the Developer prior to the submission of a Planning Application to East Devon District Council.
Visitors to the website are encouraged to fill out the feedback form found via the 'Your Views' tab in the navigation bar.
Please take the time to explore the website to understand the development in detail. Thank you for your interest in Persimmon Homes' public consultation on the Cranbrook Urban Extension. We look forward to hearing your views.
Cranbrook Cobdens is one of four expansion areas of Cranbrook set out in the emerging Cranbrook Develoment Plan Document. The Cranbrook Cobdens expansion area is located to the east of the existing Cranbrook development. There are three other expansion areas for Cranbrook named Bluehayes, Treasbeare and Grange. This consultation website has been set up for public comments to be made solely on the proposed Cobdens expansion area for Cranbrook. Details of all the expansion areas for Cranbrook can be found on the East Devon District Council website for the Cranbrook Plan (https://eastdevon.gov.uk/planning/planning-policy/cranbrook-plan/).
The Cranbrook Cobdens Expansion Area is outlined in Red on the Site Location Plans above. Click on the plans to view in full size and use the zoom in and out functions if necessary.
