Black Maternal Health Week is April 11-17. It is an opportunity to raise awareness and take action to improve the health of Black mothers. The materials in this toolkit include a website banner, virtual meeting backgrounds, newsletter copy, slide for presentations, social media images with suggested captions, and featured stories.

STI Awareness Week

STI Awareness Week (April 14-20) provides an opportunity to raise awareness about sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and how they impact our lives; how to reduce STI-related stigma, fear, and discrimination; and ensure people have the tools and knowledge for prevention, testing, and treatment. This toolkit from CDC includes three different campaigns to choose from.

National Transgender Testing Day

April 18 is National Transgender HIV Testing Day (NTHTD). Share the social media posts in this toolkit to help spark conversations about HIV testing and status awareness, as well as HIV prevention and treatment for transgender and nonbinary people. You can also share Let’s Stop HIV Together campaign resources for transgender people (in English and Spanish) as well as HIV testing resources (in English and Spanish).
