The Purpose
As my history final, I was tasked with creating a project based on one of the points of history we studied that semester through the lens of a future possible career. I chose to create a project from the perspective of a fashion designer, and made it all about Woodrow Wilson's Fourteen Points.
The Intention
The Intention
I originally planned to create fourteen individual outfits, one representing each of Wilson's Fourteen points, however some were combined to create a more cohesive piece.
The Process
The Process
I used drawing templates to sketch in pencil multiple different outfits. I then scanned them, brought them into Photoshop, and turned the pencil lines into a solid black outline. I then took those images, added color and texture and wrote a short blurb about what each outfit represented.
