La qualité à la fois fragile et brutale de son œuvre a d’ores et déjà été saluée par nombres d’amateurs d’art avertis.---Cosimo D. Tassone (CòŠmõï), the son of Italian immigrants, drew his photosensitive organ and shot the world for the first time in France, a multicultural environment that taught him a lot: A broad openness to the world!
In the late 80’s, CòŠmõï started studying physical sciences at the University of Metz, but he was more interested in expressing himself in various ways, such as drawing, singing, or playing guitar.
No matter the medium, his creations were spontaneous and beyond any intellectualization.
It was all about instinct! The strongest and the most universal language, according to him!
As a sensitive artist, CòŠmõï offers today a huge and unique iconography that has never been seen before.
Completely self-taught, CòŠmõï is an art outsider who began late (2013) in photography after a career as a singer.
His iconoclastic approach focuses on the fragility of his existence and that of the world around him.
Rich and powerful, sometimes slightly chaotic, often anxious, his work tells us his story and gives us his perspective on the surrounding universe that he tries to tame.
The fragile and brutal quality of his work has already been praised by a number of knowledgeable art lovers.
