The Venue will be the Clock Tower and International Science Innovation Building in the main campus of Kyoto University, Japan. Plenary sessions and part of parallel sessions will be held in the Centennial Hall in the Clock Tower . Other parallel sessions will be held in the Symposium Hall of the International Science Innovation Building and in the International Conference Hall of the Clock Tower. The latter hall will be divided into three separate rooms during the parallel sessions.
*Wi-Fi is available through eduroam at the venues. It is recommended that you prepare in advance by issuing an eduroam account or ensuring you can use eduroam.
The host institution is Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics (YITP), Kyoto University. YITP was founded in 1953 in commemoration of Hideki Yukawa being awarded the Nobel Prize. YITP has been playing an important role as the first national research center with its facilities open to the entire community of theoretical physicists in Japan, hosting a number of international conferences and workshops. See the list of meetings in the area of cosmology and theoretical astrophysics held in YITP for the last 10 years.

Cafeteria / Lunch
We will distribute lunch tickets to all onsite participants, which can be used at on-campus cafeterias during lunchtime (noon - 2 pm). Dated tickets will be distributed as part of the conference package handed out at the registration desk. Please use the correct dated ticket for each day. The maximum amount covered by the ticket is 600 yen. The tickets can be used at the following cafeterias (map is available →):
CHUO (Central dining), Canfora, Cafeteria Renais, HOKUBU (North dining).
Halal and vegetarian options are available at Cafeteria Renais.
* Non-refundable/non-exchangeable/no change.
* If the above amount (600 yen) is exceeded, please pay the excess in cash.
* Credit cards are not available at the on-campus cafeteria.
* There is a wide variety of restaurants around Kyoto University. You can also explore them on your own. Please note that local restaurants typically cannot accept credit cards.

Kyoto has a well-developed public transportation system and there are several routes for getting to the campus. From the city center, one option is to take a bus to Hyakumanben (routes 3, 7, 201, 203, 206) or Kyodai Seimon-mae (routes 201, 206). Another option is to take Keihan Railway to Demachiyanagi Station. From Demachiyanagi Station, the main campus can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. A map of the main campus can be found below.
Kansai International Airport (KIX) is the primary international airport in the Greater Osaka Area of Japan and the closest international airport to the city of Kyoto. The JR Haruka Limited Express takes around 70 minutes to get from KIX to Kyoto. Airport Limousine Bus runs regularly between KIX and Kyoto and the journey takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. In addition, there are two companies who provide shared taxi services.
Kyoto is an international tourist city with a wide variety of hotels. Some convenient areas within walking or bus distance to Kyoto University are:
Kawaramachi, Gion (downtown): about 20 min by bus to the campus, about 10 min by train to Demachiyanagi Sta. Hotels can be also found within walking distance (about 2-3 km to the campus).
Kyoto station (central station): about 30 min by bus to the campus. Keihan Railway does not stop.
