Poster and Beer - Tuesday late afternoon (17:20-19:20)
Participants can have fruitful discussions with beer/non-alcoholic drink at the poster session.
Wednesday Free Afternoon
Wednesday afternoon is free. Kyoto was the capital of Japan for over 1,000 years. You can enjoy sightseeing, Japanese historical culture, foods, etc. Further information can be found in Kyoto City Official Travel Guide.
Banquet - Wednesday evening (18:30-20:30)
We will have a banquet on October 23 (Wed) at the Clock Tower and the International Science Innovation Building in Kyoto Univ.
A tuna filleting show, planned during the banquet (in the Clock Tower), will provide a unique experience of Japanese food culture.
In another banquet place (International Science Innovation Building), we will have a “mochitsuki” event. It is a traditional Japanese ceremony where people pound steamed rice to make mochi (a sticky rice cake).
Let's enjoy some Japanese cuisine, including sushi, and sake (Japanese rice wine)!
