In order to improve communication and to meet the needs of all residents, we are adding the option to attend public meetings via Zoom.  Corbin City will host hybrid meetings, which shall follow all standard operating protocols and regulations used in regular in person meetings and all meetings shall be recorded.   

Council President and Board Chair shall host the meeting, shall designate a controller to observe the virtual meeting, have control allowing for the meeting to commence and/or disconnecting of any participant who gauges in profanity or other disruptive behavior.  

Participants attending virtual meeting, upon arrival would be placed in a waiting room until the meeting commences, video and chat feature will be disabled and audio will be muted. With video feature off, your name will appear on screen, dialing by phone you will be asked to identify yourself, thus permitting the host to call upon you during the public comment portion, non-verification of a virtual participant will not be permitted to address City Council or Board.

When the floor is open for public comment, participants will be able to raise hand (symbol at the top of your screen), or dial *9 if calling in, indicating a motion to address City Council or Board, your name will be announced, then only then, you will be able to unmute yourself, first state your name and address, comments will be limited to 3 minutes, controller will alert you when 30 seconds are remaining.
