Be Ready in a Flash
While you’re out getting school supplies, along with saving during the NJ Sales tax holiday, remember to get a flash drive for your family. Upload any important documents so you’ll be ready in flash for any type of emergency situation. 08/28/22

We wanted to give you an update on a few different hazards that will pose threats over the next couple days:
1) Marginal Risk of Severe Weather this afternoon - One round of rain is coming through early this morning with another round of some showers expected this afternoon. This second round in the afternoon could include some thunderstorms that will be capable of bringing locally damaging wind gusts down to the surface. The Storm Prediction Center has much of the forecast area highlighted in a MARGINAL threat for severe weather.
2) Wintry Mix late Wednesday into Wednesday night - A system moving in late Wednesday into Wednesday night still looks to bring a wintry mix over the southern Poconos and NW NJ with the potential for around a tenth of an inch of freezing rain in spots over the higher terrain. Precipitation will eventually change to all rain later Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
3) Coastal Flooding this Morning - A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for this morning's high tide for coastal NJ from Middlesex southward through Atlantic Counties. This is due to high astronomical high tides due to the new moon.
