The Workers Herald

1923

The Worker's Herald was founded by Clement Kadalie. According to Switzer, the paper was unquestionably the most powerful black trade union in South African history and replaced the ANC as the chief political party of the Bantu people for a number of years. It was self-styled radical journal citing white segregation and capitalism as twin oppressor of the African people.
