Images on Facebook

The ADA (American Disabilities Act) REQUIRES that we create accessible content, which includes content that we create and share on social media. If you create images with text (memes with text, event flyers, etc.), the content on the image must be represented AS TEXT elsewhere. The information on an image must be represented. Images including visual content are a special category of resources, as reading machines or Read Aloud Options can do nothing with images.
