On the night of November 9th, 2024 at about 3:50 AM, We responded to a reported Brush fire which was then upgraded to a Large Brush Fire after ECC had received multiple calls from people reporting a large section of woods on fire and threatening structures. The fire took up an area of about 100x100 feet. The picture to the left is a picture taken of me and my unit officer making an attack on the fire with our 400 foot hose line from one of our Fire Engines, Engine 32.
This is a Picture of me inside a Class 1 or Class A Chemical Hazmat suit, I had to put it on as part of my Hazardous Materials/WMD class that I've been taking. The class is operated and taught by MFRI or Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute.
