These are comments from participants in T the lecture “80 Years After World War II: Palestinian Ambassador's Message to Nagasaki” (with permission to publish).
Thank you very much to everyone who submitted comments.
It was very good. I was moved by your words full of love and wisdom.
I stand with Palestine!
I wanted to know about the constructive process (plan) for peace and what stage it is currently at. I was able to learn about the current situation in Palestine. I would like to study Israel's madness in greater depth. I want to know what actions ordinary citizens can take to contribute to peace.
I hope that all countries will participate in the Nagasaki Peace Ceremony and engage in discussions for peace, including countries currently involved in war or conflict. I want everyone to reflect and pray together. Let's do in Nagasaki what the United Nations cannot do.
The Arabic coffee I received was so delicious that I was surprised. I wondered what the spice was, and it turned out to be cardamom. I will try making it at home. It felt like we got a little closer through food. Thank you very much for this opportunity.
The ambassador's remarks gave me a deeper understanding of the current situation in Palestine and Gaza. I would like to continue providing my modest support in the future.
Justice for Palestine must prevail. And justice must be achieved! I have been inspired by your courage.
I fully support the Palestinian people who have been fighting relentlessly since 1948. Solidarity and liberation for Palestine!
Make Palestine a state. And stop the genocide. Palestine is under control, isn't it?
Reiwa Shinsengumi's Rie Okizono is involved in the Palestinian movement. I will do whatever I can to put an end to the killings.
I feel ashamed and helpless not to support Palestinians enough. We have to prepare ourselves enough to be in positions and to take actions not only words to make the peace a fact and give the peace the power that support peace. Don’t forget that your words is important. Palestine is 100% not 22%.coexistance with who kill you are not neighbour hope are criminals.you should the 100% not 22%.
Resist with believe in Allah, nt People. Do your best to splead your words among the Japanese, most of them are goog hearted any will be agreet support to Palestinians espicelly when Peace come.
I am speechless. I am ashamed that our Defense Equipment Agency is jointly developing this with Israel. I apologize.
Free Palestine!!! I will resist together.
Thank you very much for hosting this event.
I felt compelled to once again condemn Israel's barbaric actions of continuing to seize Palestinian land for 77 years.
For the liberation of Palestine, I would like to take action to stop Israel's violence immediately, doing everything I can.
My heart hurts.
It is not just a local issue, but a global issue that we must consider how to enable residents to live in peace regardless of ethnicity or religion. I believe this is my own personal issue.
Is it not possible for the Palestinian people to seek temporary refuge in another country? If such a thing is happening, I would like to help in any way I can.
I have attended several lectures and study sessions on Palestine in the past, but this is the first time I have been confronted with such dire circumstances. I would like to keep in mind the importance of the Japanese government recognizing the State of Palestine and boycotting Israeli products.
I would like to avoid purchasing products made with American or Israeli capital and keep my eyes on the situation in Gaza. Free Palestine as soon as possible!
I remember meeting Palestinian Authority Chairman Arafat in Ramallah in 2002. It made me think about my responsibilities.
I want to repent for Japan's responsibility and for the fact that our lives have contributed to this massacre.
Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity.
I think it was a very informative meeting, with frank answers to even complex questions.
I have been supporting you all along, but I think I will try to lobby the Japanese government (politicians) more.
It was a powerful message and a good learning experience. When I think about what Israel is doing, it is truly inhumane and causes suffering to many people and animals. Calling them “animal humans” seems to dehumanize animals other than humans, which is unacceptable.
I believe that liberation is necessary for peace. We will continue to stand together in solidarity.
The ambassador said that he would seek recognition of the Palestinian state. In August, Mr. Isezaki of the Reiwa Shinsengumi called on Japan to recognize Palestine as a state in the Diet. Prime Minister Ishiba also responded positively. There is now a glimmer of hope.
