We express our deepest solidarity with those risking their lives at sea to deliver aid.
Upon hearing the news of the ship's seizure, we sincerely hope for the safety of those aboard and that the aid supplies reach the people of Gaza as soon as possible.
We stand with those who rise up for humanity and dignity, not violence, and will continue to raise our voices from Nagasaki. October 2

On July 13, the “Handala”set sail for humanitarian aid and to protest the Gaza blockade. Although ship was recently seized, the campaign continues. We will welcome Mr. Walid Siam, the Palestinian Ambassador, to hear directly about the 80-year history of Palestine, which has undergone dramatic changes.
