Includes all the steps 1 - 6 plus the following below.
First Draft Discussion
We deliver the first draft within the contracted timeline, including floor plans. We'll meet to review the layout in detail, discuss what needs adjustment, and then get back to work on the revisions.
50% Draft
After receiving your feedback, we update the drawings to reflect all requested changes and include what's required for permitting. We coordinate with any consultants on the project team and run our internal quality review before sending it over.
Concept Design
We create initial your design concepts—floor plans and exterior elevations—that give you a clear picture of the overall direction. This phase is collaborative, and we refine the design based on your input until it aligns with your vision and site conditions.
Design Development
Once the concept is approved, we detail the design development, specifying materials, finishes, fixtures, and refined interior layouts. Every element is documented and coordinated to produce a build-ready set prepared for permitting and construction review.

Q76: What is your standard project timeline from first contact to final delivery?
A: Our standard delivery is 14 business days: Day 1 field survey with measuring and photography, Day 5 initial CAD draft for your review, Day 10 revised set with your comments incorporated, and Day 14 final AutoCAD DWG, Revit model, and PDF delivery. Rush delivery in 7 days is available at all tiers.
Q77: Can I review drawings during production rather than waiting for the final set?
A: Yes. We issue three PDF milestone deliveries during every project — initial draft, mid-project revision, and pre-final review — so you can provide feedback incrementally. Unlimited phone support is available throughout the drafting phase for coordination with your architect, engineer, or contractor.
Q78: What happens if I need drawing revisions after the project is delivered?
A: Every project includes one complimentary revision within 30 days of final delivery for scope items confirmed in the original agreement. Revisions outside that window or resulting from new field conditions are billed at $95 per hour, with an estimated hour range provided before we begin.
Q84: What information do you need to provide a project quote?
A: We need three things: the property address, approximate building square footage, and the type of deliverable — floor plans only, full as-built set. With those three items we typically respond with a written quote within four business hours.
Q85: Do you work directly with architects and engineers on their projects?
A: Yes, our projects involve direct coordination with an architect, engineer, or general contractor. We deliver architect ready files in PDF — and accommodate project-specific title block and layer naming standards when requested.
Q87: Is expedited or rush delivery available?
A: Rush delivery in seven business days is available at all pricing tiers, subject to scanner scheduling in your market. Rush projects carry a 50 percent premium over the standard base price. Contact us as early as possible — scanner availability in Memphis, Atlanta, Central Florida, or Boston determines the earliest site visit date.
Q88: What file formats are included in the final drawing delivery?
A: Every delivery includes a full-resolution PDF. Additional formats are available on request.
Q95: What site access conditions are required to complete the field survey?
A: We need unobstructed access to all areas being documented — attic hatches, crawlspace entries, mechanical rooms, electrical panels, and roof access where applicable. Client presence or a designated property contact is preferred for locked spaces. For occupied commercial properties, we coordinate around business hours or arrange after-hours access as needed.
Q96: What happens if weather causes a delay to the scheduled site visit?
A: Weather postponements are rescheduled at no additional charge. Our laser scanning equipment is fully weatherproof for exterior work and most surveys proceed in light rain. In cases where severe weather prevents the visit, we contact you immediately to reschedule within the same week whenever possible.
Q100: Can you start a project next week?
A: In most cases, yes. We can schedule a site visit within 48 hours of contract execution, subject to scanner availability in your market. Let us know any firm permit deadlines or construction start dates when you contact us and we will confirm whether the standard or rush timeline best fits your schedule.
