Michael Angelo San Juan

Michael Angelo San Juan is an undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He has a strong interest in materials science, data science, and computational applications within chemical engineering.

Michael’s previous experience includes improving medical imaging workflows through machine learning and image processing during the UChicago Data Science Institute Summer Program. Currently, he is engaged in research on the self-assembly of amphiphilic molecular brush polymers in solution, exploring their potential for drug-delivery applications.

In his free time, Michael enjoys bouldering and playing the piano.
